Senior Campaign Director

Are you an intelligent, confident, hard-working, self-starter? Are you a proven major gifts fundraiser with at least 8 years' experience? Do you have experience working on capital campaigns? Do you have excellent written and oral communication skills? Are you determined to distinguishing yourself as a leader in the fundraising industry? We are growing and always looking for experienced and ethical campaign directors.

Apprenticeship Program

We are a trusted corporate partner with Charleston-area local universities wherein we seek out students in their third and fourth year of college and invite them to work alongside us for at least one year in order to give them a true sense of what we do, and also how we do it. If they are good at the work, and enjoy it, we can discuss a full-time job after graduation.

Internships

We offer a wide range of part-time paid and not-paid internships for high school, college students, and adult professionals in all aspects of our services, including: sales, online marketing, grant researching and writing, data analysis, reporting, and research.

The CDS Drive and Listening Culture

We are avid readers of innovative, as well as proven practices for building a healthy and satisfied team. We have particularly taken direction from Daniel Pink’s book, “Drive” and the roadmap of creating a culture where all CDS team members feel a sense of Autonomy, Mastery, and Purpose.

We have been enthusiastic participants in the series of free “Our Community Listens” workshops generously offered by PhillipsLISTENS, Inc workshops – focusing on attentive listening, reflective communication, and constructively communicating wants and needs in relation to identifiable core human behavioral tendencies and patterns of engagement.
