When conducting a development audit, CDS has three goals in mind for an organization:
- Produce more donor income immediately;
- Implement proven professional fundraising practices that help produce long-term growth in donor income; and
- Share the most effective techniques with which to cultivate stronger relationships with current supporters. Include an analysis of all external communications and marketing material. This would include a review of the website, regular communications such as newsletters, and an evaluation of your constituent relationship database management software.
- Donor Recognition and appreciation policies will be scrutinized for effectiveness.
